About us
With the experiences of decades the medium-sized companies of the KAJO-Group are well-positioned in the market as innovative enterprises for development and production of special lubricants and colour pastes for wholesale and industry. KAJO delivers its products in all customary sizes of trading units up to tank lorries – if requested also as private labelling.
Since the establishment of the KAJO-Chemie Group in 1976 it has been a part of the family-run group of companies, to strike a new path on behalf of our customers. It has never been part of the KAJO philosophy to rest on the acquired know-how. Therefore, with the establishment of KAJO-Schmierstoff-Technik GmbH in 1982 and the foundation of PEKA-Chemie GmbH in 1986 new grounds were broken. Since that time the development and production of lubrication greases as well as colour pastes for the production of ester and ether foams due to customer requirements has been a specialty of the KAJO-Group.
In a market, formed by rapid technological changes with steadily changing demands, KAJO stands for continuing innovation and sound growth. By this, most recently the increased demand of specially tuned release agents for the wood and building material industry has been taken into account by establishing the development company KAJO-Tec GmbH in autumn 2006.
Today, approximately 90 employees care for the growing satisfaction of the customers on the collective area of the KAJO-companies in Anröchte. It is our demand to react quality conscious and in close customer contact on the requirements. Therefore, we continue investing into the qualification of our employees, the quality of our products, our plants and processes. By the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 a quality standard was confirmed to us, which we are steadily improving. Systematically realized internal audits in all corporate divisions and customer audits make sure, that we do not rest on our high status. These strengths are estimated by our customers – from medium-sized industrial and commercial enterprises up to international concerns like ExxonMobil and BP, which provide KAJO-products with their label.
KAJO directs special attention on consideration of environmental aspects of production and products. Already by the end of the 80’s we started developing environmentally friendly, i.e. biodegradable lubricants. The target was the manufacturing and distribution of lubricants, having lower environmental impacts than comparative products and a better briefing of the consumers regarding the environmental burden of unsuitable lubricants. Thus KAJO avails of a wide range of products in all lubricant divisions, being qualified to carry the environmental label “Blue Angel”. Not only in the field of biodegradable products we are internationally orientated. Therefore we were the first enterprise to apply for the European Ecolabel for a whole programme of well-engineered biological products. Currently our chain-saw lubricant oil BIO 2050 as well as our BIO-Hydraulic oil HEES 46 are awarded with the Ecolabel.
